2. Classification

   – String Inverter: String inverter is a central inverter that acts as the input of the electrical power source generated by a series of energy panels, from which runs to each individual unit. The solar panels are linked together in series and the end point is connected to the inverter. A chain inverter can have multiple inputs.
   – Power Optimizer: The optimizer is attached to your solar panels, allowing you to control each output of that panel independently with the other panels of the chain. This has solved the string inverter limitations. If a panel has a reduced capacity to produce electricity due to shade or technical problems, then the optimizer ensures that other panels in the chain are not affected.
   – Micro-Inverter: This type of inverter combines with a single solar panel to manage and undertake the task of converting DC into AC power for that individual panel. In micro inverter systems, there is no String Inverter. Instead, each panel will be connected to its own micro inverter.
